Rachel, We are so sorry to hear of Lester’s passing. We think of you both often and the friendship we shared. I saw Lester’s name on the list of Houston firefighters we have lost that will be remembered tomorrow at The Annual Firefighter Mass, Sunday October 2, 2022 at Sacred Heart Co-Cathedral All firefighters will receive a special blessing from the Cardinal Daniel DiNardo and/or Father Bane along with the blessings of all apparatus’ in attendance and all firefighters who have passed away in the past year will have their name read from the Saint Florian Book Of Remembrance. A bell will toll in remembrance of Lester.
Smitty and I will be there and will say a special prayer for Lester and you.
Sending you love and warm hugs.
Smitty (Mike) and Bettye Smith

Lester was a gentleman and most importantly a Christian. My prayers are with his family that Gods Grace be with you all during this difficult time.
Mr. Lester always had time for you no matter how busy he was. I probably got on his nerves asking 900000 questions at the pharmacy. He was always ready to pray for anyone who he came in contact with He was a wonderful man. I will miss him, even after retirement he always would stop me to say hi and talk. He will BE missed..my love and prayers to Rachel and family.
I have known him all my life. He went to school with my brother and His parents good friends with my family. He was on Kountze city council and active in the community. Prayers for his family and friends.
Beyond sad…..such a super nice guy…..love and prayers for family…..
