MawMaw was a sweet sweet grandmother. From the cream soda in her fridge, to her bread and butter pickles, to baking the world's best tea cakes.. But most of all it was how she loved me and how much she loved my boys….she was the best around. Growing up picking watermelons and peas in her garden, and swinging on her tire swing on the path back to the house…so many wonderful memories that will forever be cherished. So blessed and thankful to have such a loving MawMaw in my life!

Even though I had not seen her in many years, Leta was always such a dear, sweet lady. She was the best friend of my grandmother, Emily 'Em' Green (whom we lost several years ago). That group of ladies spent many hours playing cards and running the roads. Fly high sweet lady.

Ricky & I always asked how she was doing, to which she always replied, “ better than I deserve “ She was precious ❣️
