Lewis “L.W.” Wilson

Lewis “L.W.” Wilson, 90, of Groves, died Wednesday, January 14, 2026. He was born on December 8, 1935, in Slidell, Louisiana, to Florence Lucille Henderson and Lewis Woodrow Wilson.

Lewis was a United States Navy Veteran. He loved singing and fishing, and was an avid reader.

Survivors include his nephew, Richard Willett and his wife, Judy; great-niece, Pam Ford and her husband, Shane; cousin, Agabita Rowe; and friends, Joseph and Jerilee Whitmire.

He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Barbara; and son, Kenny Wilson.

A gathering of Mr. Wilson’s family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m., with his funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, 4090 Delaware St., Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. His interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
