Linda Ann Fancey
Linda Ann Fancey, 74, of China, died Monday, January 17, 2022, at Christus Southeast Texas-St. Elizabeth, Beaumont. She was born on February 28, 1947, to Diola Marie Richard LaBove and Lawrence LaBove, in Port Neches. Linda loved her Bunco club and former bowling years. She loved fishing, trips to the deer lease, cooking, but most of all Linda loved her children and grandchildren. Linda didn’t miss one activity for her grandkids. The best day of her life was finding her first born adopted daughter.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Fancey; daughters, Jon Angela Montie and her husband, Todd, of Sulphur, Louisiana; DeLana Lynn Miller of China; Aimee Louise McGallion and her husband, Elgie, of Kirbyville; Christen Meyers and her husband, Dallas, of Marysville, Ohio; and Jennifer Hoaglund and her husband, Shane, of Earlville, Illinois; grandchildren, Marissa Hall and her husband, Tyler; Melaina Montie; Brittany Renick and her husband, Cliff; Karie Carpenter; Mason Calloway; Matthew Calloway; Michael Rowland; Makenzie Reynolds; Austin McGallion; Carolyn Bruce and her husband, Brandon; Christopher Hester and his wife, Destiny; Charles Meyers; and Kristopher Haish; sixteen great-grandchildren; sisters, Kathy Spencer and her husband, Ron, of South Lake and Phyllis Michels and her husband, Mike, of Trinity.
She is preceded in death by her parents; one brother; and two sisters.
A gathering of Mrs. Fancey’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m., Friday, January 21, 2022, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 22, 2022, at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 245 West Highway 90, China, with her interment to follow at China Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to an organization of one’s choice.

For the best MawMaw there ever was. I will think of you always. I don’t have a memory without you in it. From staying with you for the all the weekends to traveling, spending weekends at the camp, and you making the best dinners. Now my own daughters staying with you and making memories of their own. I always knew you were one phone call away, we could count on you for anything. You were our biggest cheerleader and encourager. All of us, no matter what. To know me, was to know you. You accepted everyone as your own and loved them despite any flaws. I am so beyond blessed and grateful for you; you are a gift. You were so full of life and the epitome of what a mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, friend, and especially a grandmother should be. I felt so loved by you, I know all of us did. I hope when people look at me they can see you. I hope to love my grandchildren one day the way you loved all of us. I promise to speak of you often and share your memories; so we can smile and not cry because you are gone. We all will miss you. You really were the greatest.

Brittany this was so beautiful. You are spot on with everything you wrote. She really was the greatest. Her beautiful blue eyes and contagious laugh were my favorite. She took me in as her own and it was such a love I always longed for. I am so grateful I got to call her my MawMaw too.

We all have so many years of awesome memories together. From raising our kiddos together, our gang at the pool, times at church, up until the Bunco games. Great laughter and tears throughout our lives.
