Linda Carol Locke Hodges

Linda Carol Locke Hodges, 77, of Beaumont, died Monday, February 23, 2026. She was born on April 20, 1948, in Jackson, Tennessee to Lura Mae Surratt and Elijah Walter Locke.

Survivors include her daughters, Sheree Prichard and her significant other, Huey Abshire, of Fannett, and Deanna Lopez of Kirbyville; sons, Greg Collins and his wife, Karren, of Meeker; and Homer Collins, of Vidor; sister, Faith Ann Haynes and her partner, Joey Bingham, of Vidor; brothers, Chris Locke of Beaumont; David Locke and his wife, Brenda, of Vidor; and George Locke of North Carolina; grandchildren, Emily Forsmo, Brandon Prichard, Julianna Nash, Jonathon Marshall, Gregory Collins, Tiffany Collins, Michael Collins, and Jacob Collins; great-grandchildren, Boston Forsmo, Judah Nash, Alexander, Christian Collins, Isaac Authement, and Xavier Authement; and great-great-grandson, Liam.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dave Hodges; and son, Jeff Collins.

A gathering of Mrs. Hodges’ family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Sunday, March 1, 2026, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be a 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 2, 2026, at Gist United Pentecostal Church, 11067 Texas Highway 62, Buna, with her interment to follow at The Cemetery, Orange.
