Linda Cravy Anderson

Linda Sue Cravy Anderson, 70, of Kountze, died Wednesday, October 27, 2021.  Linda was born on May 2, 1951, in Kountze, Texas, to Bertha Mae Hooks Swor and Charles Swor, Sr.

Mrs. Anderson will be remembered for shining the light of Jesus Christ on everyone God put in her path. Mrs. Anderson adored and doted on her two sons and four grandsons. She expressed love, kindness, compassion, and provisions for anyone in need. Mrs. Anderson was a natural caregiver and blessing to all. She is a longtime member of Happy Valley Church. Her presence will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her husband of thirty-two years, A.J. Anderson; sons, Ronald Cravy, Jr. and his wife, Tricia and Brian Cravy and his wife, April, all of Silsbee; and Shawn M. Anderson and his wife, Audra, of Charleston, South Carolina; grandchildren, Waylon Cravy and his wife, Anna; Holden Cravy and his wife, Bailey; Trace Cravy; and Eli Cravy; brothers, Charles Swor and his wife, Paula, of Warren; Thomas Swor of Saratoga; Melvin Swor of Orange; and Daniel Swor of Kountze; sisters, Shirley Swor of Kountze; Kathy Holly field and her husband, Charles, of Silsbee; Francine Swor of De Quincy, Louisiana; and Melissa Davis of Lumberton; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.  She is preceded in death by her parents.

A gathering of Mrs. Anderson’s family and friends will be 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Sunday, October 31, 2021, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.  Her funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, November 1, 2021, at Broussard’s, with her interment to follow at Hooks-Cravy Cemetery, Silsbee.
