Linda Gayle Barrow

Linda Gayle Barrow, 77, of Port Neches, died Wednesday, August 25, 2021, at Magnolia Manor, Groves. She was born February 14, 1944, in Port Arthur, to Veda Dennis Johnson and Holton Crews Johnson. Having been born on Valentines Day, Linda, more affectionately referred to as “GaGa”, was known most for her love…love she showered over her family and friends.

Linda was a 1962 graduate of Port Neches Groves High School where she was an Indianette.  She moved to Nederland as quickly as she could and abandoned her purple and white for black and gold.  Being an avid Bulldog fan, she would often be seen attending Bulldog sporting events with Ronnie, even well after her own children had graduated. She loved supporting her children and grandchildren in whatever they were doing. Family was everything to her.

Survivors include her children, Monte Barrow and wife Amber, of Nederland; Tammy Monk and husband Troy, of Mont Belvieu; and Keith Barrow and wife Heather, of Nederland; nine grandchildren, Jordyn, Seth, Brayden, Pierce, Brenden, Payne, Reeve, Brek, and Holt; and one great-grandson, Kellen. She is also survived by her brother, Holton “Bubba” Johnson of Burkeville; sister, Judith Hunsucker and her husband Charles, of League City; and sister-in-law, Sharon Tatum and her husband Steve, of Lumberton.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband, Ronnie.

A gathering of Mrs. Barrow’s family and friends will be 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12^th Street, Nederland. Her funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 2, 2021, at Broussard’s, with her interment to follow at Memory Gardens of Jefferson County, Nederland.
