Linda Faye Guillory

Linda Faye Guillory, 77, of Port Arthur, died Saturday, January 23, 2021. She was born November 24, 1943, in Norfolk, Virginia to Evelyn Faye Wellons Loper and Lawson E. Loper, Sr.

Linda was a 1962 graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School, Port Arthur and was a devoted member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Nederland. She was a secretary at Girling Healthcare, Beaumont for many years. Linda was talented seamstress and enjoyed sewing and making outfits and blankets for others. She was also a dog lover that bred and raised dogs for many years.

Survivors include her children, Michael Marceaux and wife, Lisa, of Katy; Gina Decuir and husband, Lanny, of Port Arthur; and John Primeaux, Jr., of Magnolia; grandchildren, Shera Burnett; Dakota Primeaux; Anika Decuir; Elli Primeaux; Meaghan Grass; Austin Mengler; and Josh Mengler; great-grandchildren, Sutton Primeaux; Elizabeth Mengler; Emma Mengler; Josh Mengler; Joey Mengler; and Everett Grass; and her best friend of sixty-four years, Patti Nides, of Garland.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Evelyn and Lawson Loper, Sr.; and brother, Lawson Loper, Jr.

A gathering of Ms. Guillory’s family and friends will begin at 9:30 a.m., with her funeral service at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 29, 2021, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. The family requests that attendees wear the color pink in honor of Mrs. Guillory. Her interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.
