Linda “Kathy” Maness, 72, passed away Friday, November 26, 2021. Born November 18, 1949, in Beaumont, Texas, to parents Selman and Helen Hooks. She grew up in the Beaumont area and remained here all her life.

Kathy married Bill Maness in 1978. Together they raised four children. Every person that came into her home was treated as if she had known them forever.

She is survived by her four children and eight grandchildren; her sister, Carol Miller, and nephew, Tony Miller and his wife, Theresa; along with numerous other nieces and nephews. May Tina Turner live on forever.

She is preceded in death by her husband and love of her life, Bill Maness, and her parents, Selman and Helen Hooks. Also, Elvis Presley and Aretha Franklin.
