Linda Romero

February 1, 1952 - June 22, 2018

Linda Marie Romero, 66, of Nederland, died Friday, June 22, 2018. She was born on February 1, 1952, in Port Arthur, to Rose Mae Dore Romero and John Clifford Romero.

Survivors include her mother, Rose Mae Romero of Port Acres; daughters, Christi LeAnne Klingman and her husband, Scott and Amy Marie Chance and her husband, Bryan, all of Beaumont; sons, Chad A. Morgan and Shane N. Morgan, both of Port Arthur and Kevin C. Boatman of Jasper; brothers, Clifford Romero and his wife, Becky and Gary Romero, both of Port Acres and John Romero, Jr. of Warren; sisters, Cheryl Kahclamat of Nederland and Mona Doyle and her husband, Dan, of Beaumont; grandchildren, Cade Chance, Christian Chance, Cason Chance, Kolby Morgan, Grayson Klingman, and Kaleb Morgan; nephews, Brody Romero and Ian Kahclamat, and nieces, Angela Young and Kayla Kahclamat. After the passing of her beloved sister Julie, Linda became a second mom to her sister’s children, Bill Miller, Jr., Brandon Miller, Roseanne Lewis, Brad Miller, Brent Miller, and Jennifer Miller.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Clifford Romero Sr.; and sister, Julie Miller.

A gathering of Ms. Romero’s family will begin at 9:30 a.m., followed by her memorial service at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, June 28, 2018, at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, 3920 West Cardinal Drive, Beaumont. A family committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
