Linda Sue Pendergrass
Linda Sue Pendergrass, 73, of Silsbee, died Thursday, June 6, 2024. She was born on April 15, 1951, in Port Arthur, to Laura Vedrine Guidry and Dorsey Guidry.
Survivors include her husband of thirty-four years, Tommy Pendergrass; children, Mitch Havard and his wife, Kim, of Groves; Clint Havard and his wife, Amber, of Dickinson; Matthew Havard and his wife, Javonne, of Kountze; and Tara Bledsoe of San Antonio; grandchildren, Ashlyne Havard; Mikayla Wappler and her husband, Matthew; Caleb Havard and his wife, Samantha; Jordan Havard, Keaton Havard, LaLanya Havard, Becks Bledsoe, Cooper Bledsoe, Grayson Havard, Baley Allen, Heaven Marcus, and Kennedy Marcus; great-grandchildren, Eva Mitchell, Wyatt Mitchell, Jolee Havard, Axel Aguirre, Ella Aguirre, Jackson Wappler, and Audrey Wappler; and siblings, Donna Bordelon and her husband, Joe, of Silsbee; and Alverta Smith of Hillsboro.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Laura and Dorsey Guidry; grandson, Devin Mitchell; and siblings, A.J. Fontenot, Lloyd Fontenot, and Jack Smith.
A gathering of Mrs. Pendergrass’ family and friends will be 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. Her graveside service will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, June 13, 2024, at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, 101 Block Street, Port Neches.

My heart broke when I read my very dearest and very long time friend had to leave us. I truly loved being Dee Dee’s friend for many years. We watched our children grow up together. This page isn’t large enough to write about all the many years we shared together. Love you Mitch, Clint and Matt my love, thoughts and prayers are with you and your families. This is so very sad Dee Dee is gone but we will see and be with her again. Love you lots.

Linda was a wonderful friend I met her at church and worked on the kitchen committee with her.She was the best cook ,we will miss her good food but most of all will miss her.To know her was to love her and I surely did! Prayers for her family I know it’s a great loss to you all.

One sweet lady who I met thru my boss Kathy her niece. She was the sweetest lady and always kept us laughing at our Kathy’s girls bunch luncheons every month. She will be greatly missed. My prayers are with you Tommy and family.

One of the sweetest women I have ever met. Have not known her long, but she made me feel so special. We worked together in the kitchen at church and she was always so pleasant. She kept us laughing! I will miss her greatly. I loved her.
