I would see Sue at the nursing home and she would always smile. I recall her from high school, when she was in school with my sister. Later went to church with her at First Assembly. Always had Wesley clean and neat, a little gentleman. Later she lived in Forest Acres and rode her bike around the neighborhood. Then Sue and I carpooled with Joan Johnson to First Assembly again. God bless Sue. True grace under fire.

    Wesley,
So sorry for your loss. Losing your mom is one of the hardest losses in life. Your mom to be admired so much in the way she handled her life. She never gave up. Hold tight your memories with her and she will always be with you. My mom loved her and I remember being around her as a kid and adult when she was visiting with my Aunt Mary and my mom. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

    Frances Blair Bethea says:

I remember her as a beautiful high school girl who was very sweet to the little girls like me who admired her. Her parents were dear friends of my parents.

    Carolyn Roberts says:

    Wesley & Wendy,

Sue was a dear friend. Really, she was my hero! A perfect example of how to adapt and accept obstacles that come in a lifetime. She got those angel wings and flew right into the arms of Jesus yesterday. She has a new body and she’s walking and talking with her mom and dad, Kay and Jesus!

Thank you for moving her closer to all of us so we could visit with her every chance we got. She told Joan the other day she was going to go home and that’s exactly what she did.

    Kelly Williams says:

I was so sad to hear about your mother yesterday. I sure loved her and visiting with her at the nursing home. I will miss her so much. Prayers for you and the rest of the family.
