Loretha “Puder” Webb Broussard
Loretha “Puder” Webb Broussard, 77, of Hamshire, Texas passed away in Beaumont, Texas on October 30, 2024. She was born in Beaumont, Texas on January 18, 1947, to Byron Webb and Dorothy Rexes Webb Wilber. Loretha was raised and lived in Hamshire, Texas. Known for her vibrant spirit, love for her friends, and eccentric charm, she was a force of nature who lived life on her own terms.
She is survived by her daughter, Tori Lynn Green and her husband, Kevin Green, of Huntsville, Texas; son, Byron Kade Broussard and his fiancé, Shawn Knight; sister, Monique Wilber, of Winnie; grandchildren, Kaleb Green (Pam), Shelby Broussard (J.P.), Sarah Green (Ashley), Olivia Viator (Ethan), Will Broussard (Gracie); niece, Maegan Sonnier; and nephew, Jacob Sonnier.
A lifelong lover of music, Puder often inspired those around her to pursue their passions with the same zeal she had for life. Her stories—always a little quirky and wonderfully unpredictable—will be missed.
A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, November 3, 2024, at The Lodge Pipkin Ranch, 23808 Big Hill Road, Beaumont, Texas from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., where we will gather to share stories, laughter, and perhaps a good Jimmy Buffett or Johnny Blaine song.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you celebrate that memorial contributions in Puder’s honor may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 North Michigan Avenue, Floor 17, Chicago, Illinois 60601.

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal
All that can be said(what a lady she was) she will always be missed by the community and friends. Sorry for your loss.
Puder was so beautiful inside and out. I remember going to Dorothy and Jinx’s house when I was young with my best friend. We would watch her put her makeup on at her vanity. She was so beautiful. May she RIP
So sorry. May she Rest in Peace. Hugs to the family!

Puder was a special person. Can’t think of a soul who doesn’t laugh and have a story to tell. The world will be a little less bright without her in it.
Peace be with all who loved her. There are many!
