Loretta Pylant
Loretta Mae Pylant, 70, of Winnie, died Sunday, May 1, 2022. She was born September 17, 1951, in Welsh, Louisiana, to Ella Mae Bertrand and Jules Ardoin.
Loretta was a pharmacy technician for over thirty years. She was a faithful member of St. Louis Catholic Church, Winnie. Loretta loved reading and sewing but above all else, her life revolved around her grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Stacy Dawson and husband, Larry, of Winnie and Reason Pylant and wife, Judi, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; grandchildren, Dustin Dawson, Riley Dawson, and Thomas Pylant; brothers, Charles Ardoin and Randy Ardoin, and wife, Sherry, both of Winnie; sisters, Geraldine Trahan and husband, Butch, of Cleveland and Ranella Odham, of Winnie; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Julia Silcox and Eva Rosetta; and brother, Thomas Ardoin.
A gathering of Ms. Pylant’s family and friends will begin at 9:00 a.m., with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 5, 2022, at St. Louis Catholic Church, 315 Buccaneer Drive, Winnie. Her interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Winnie.
Memorial Contributions in honor of Ms. Pylant may be made to St. Louis Catholic Church, 315 Buccaneer Drive, Winnie, Texas 77665.

So very sorry for your loss. Loretta was one of the first ladies I met when I first moved to Winnie. She was such a gracious and caring lady. I was blessed to call her my friend. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
I knew Loretta while we both worked at Walgreens on Calder. She was in pharmacy and I worked up front
She was a very likeable person and I knew she loved her family. She would always talk about her grand sons. She cared about customers and people in general. She was very helpful when I needed to get my mom’s prescriptions together. Loretta will be truly missed
