Lovie W. Whitehead
Lovie W. Whitehead, 86, of Beaumont, died Saturday, April 9, 2022. She was born March 8, 1936, in Bonifay, Florida, to Lila Henson and Alvin Brett.
Survivors include her husband of forty-eight years, Harriel Whitehead; children, Sharlene Williams and Deanna Whitehead; grandchildren, Lila Williams, Blake Williams, and Zack Williams; great-grandchildren, Hayleigh Ratcliff, David Ratcliff, Madison Williams, Zelena Williams, Alexandria Messer, and Alexis Messer; and sisters, Yvonne Evans, Fay Sallas and husband, Don, and Mary Brett.
She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Mark Whitehead; and sister, Ann Lipford.
A gathering of Mrs. Whitehead’s family and friends will begin at 12:00 p.m., with her funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 14, 2022, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Her interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.
