Luther “Al” Beale, Jr.

Luther “Al” Beale, Jr., 76, of Hemphill, died Monday, August 5, 2024. He was born on April 6, 1948, to Mari Lee Cribbs Beale and Luther Alton Beale, Sr., in Atlanta, Georgia, and was a veteran of the United States Navy.

Survivors include his wife, Sheryl A. Beale-Knapp of Georgia; daughters, Kimberly Parker and her husband, Tim, of Jacksonville and Victoria Wallace and her husband, Ryan, of Beaumont; sons, Jerrod and Michael Knapp and daughter, Beth Knapp-Bowen all of Georgia; brothers, Ronald Beale of Canyon Lake and Greg Miller of Florida; sister, Robin Hooper and her husband, Tim, of Florida; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Luther Alton Beale, Sr. and his wife, Elizabeth (Libby) Beale; son, Anthony Scott Beale; sisters, Lynne Murray and Laura Paisley; and brother, Richard Reginald Beale.

A gathering of Mr. Beale’s family and friends will begin at 12:00 p.m., with his funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 9, 2024, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
