Luthy Myers
Luthy Myers, 93, of Bronson, died Sunday, January 22, 2023. She was born on September 24, 1929, in Jennings, Louisiana, to Luna Crochet Lantz and Jacob Lantz.
Survivors include her children, Eldon Lee Myers, Sr. of Winnie; Stephanie Trahan and husband, John, of Bronson; Ellen Fountain of Kirbyville; Lonnie Myers and wife, Laura, of Hillister; and Bruce Myers of Mauriceville; twenty grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and brother, Herman Lantz of Jennings, Louisiana.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lawrence Myers; children, Danny Lee Myers, Lambert Ray Myers, Sr., Roy James Myers, and Michael Wayne Myers; and sister, Elta Mae Chassion.
A gathering of Mrs. Myers’ family and friends will be 12:00 p.m. until 1:50 p.m., with a Rosary recited at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, January 26, 2023, at Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 26, 2023, at St. Louis Catholic Church, 315 Buccaneer Drive, Winnie, with her interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Winnie.
