Madison “Madi” Hope Thibodeau
Madison “Madi” Hope Thibodeau, 23, of Lumberton, died Monday, August 8, 2022. She was born on May 18, 1999, in Beaumont, to Portia Braley and Richard Thibodeau. Madi was a graduate of Lumberton High School and had attended Lamar University.
Survivors include her mother, Portia Saunier of Lumberton and her fiancé, Mark E. Gaudet of Port Neches; father, Richard Thibodeau of Lumberton; siblings, Kindall Saunier; Cameron Thibodeau, and Carley Henley, all of Lumberton; grandparents, Gary and Phyllis Braley, and George and Sharon Thibodeau of Lumberton; Judy Saunier of Meaux, Louisiana; and Barbara Cardwell of Beaumont; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; and other family members.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Neal Saunier.
A gathering of Madi’s family and friends will begin at 9:00 a.m., with her funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 13, 2022, at Broussard’s 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. Her interment will follow at Hardin Memorial Park, Silsbee.

Madi was a ray of sunshine. She always had a smile on her face. Most of the time she was laughing and making others laugh. She was quick to hug you and tell you that she loved you.
My heart is broken. This beautiful girl let us way too soon.
