Manuel Leander III

Manuel Leander, 35, of Houston died Monday, November 7, 2022. He was born on January 11, 1987, in Topeka, Kansas.

Manuel managed the Wag’n World Dog Daycare in Houston for several years. He previously worked for Broussard’s Mortuary and Dr. Kelly Kays at Dowlen Road Animal Clinic. Manuel loved playing video games in his spare time. He will be remembered for his kind and gentle spirit and his love for animals.

Survivors include his wife of five years, Elizabeth McNeil of Houston; parents, Manny and Karen Leander of Fayetteville, North Carolina; mother and father -in- law, Sara and Hugh McNeil of Devers; brother-in-laws, Michael McNeil and his wife, Vicky, of Dayton and Bobby Beall and his wife, Ginny, of Atascosita; nieces and nephews, Austin, Cassidy, Logan, and Ashley; numerous other loving friends and animals. Manuel will be especially missed by his faithful feline companions, Cookie, Kurro, and Asuna.

Cremation arrangements for Mr. Leander were held through Broussard’s Crematorium, under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont.
