Margaret Ann Byrd

Margaret Ann Byrd, 74, of Wildwood, died Sunday, December 18, 2022. She was born on July 30, 1948, in West Monroe, Louisiana, to Addie Lavinia Ingram Carroll and Clarence Carroll.

Survivors include her husband, Derrell Byrd; children, Jeannie Woolf and her husband, Coye, of Wildwood; Tressa Clarke and her husband, Blair Sr., of Beaumont; and Eddie Byrd and his wife, Amanda, of Lumberton; grandchildren, Austin Doucet and his wife, Cristi, of Wildwood; Josh Woolf and his wife, Loren, of Silsbee; Kyndal Woolf of Wildwood; Blair Clarke, Jr., and Hannah Clarke all of Beaumont; Madison Byrd, Payton Byrd, and Jordan Byrd all of Lumberton; great-grandchildren, Kayden Hare, Hunter Biscamp, Avah Woolf, and Adalynn Gilbert; and brother, Robert Carroll of Beaumont. She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Lela Wiese; and brother, Tommy Russell.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Sadie Keel, Charlesetta Foster, and Zena Henderson for their care of Mrs. Byrd.

A gathering of Mrs. Byrd’s family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., with her funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. Her graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 23, 2022, at Flatwood Cemetery in Eastland County, Texas.
