Margaret Azine Waldrep

Margaret Azine Waldrep, 94, of Fred, Texas, was born on June 7, 1928, to Maggie Tanton Walters and Lem Walters, in Silsbee, Texas. She has lived in several towns in Texas with her husband, Harvey, and their family. She died on October 21, 2022, in Lake Jackson, Texas.

Survivors include her sons, Harvey Waldrep Jr. and his wife, Rhonda; Gary Waldrep and his wife, Colleen; daughter-in-law, Gail Waldrep, and Carol Couey; five grandchildren, and nine great grand-children. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Waldrep; children, Dennis and Jimmie; and grandson, J.J. Couey.

Visitation for Margaret Azine Waldrep, will be from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., with her funeral service at 2:00 p.m., October 29, 2022, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee, with interment to follow at Franks Branch Cemetery, Fred.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Sodalis assisted living and the hospice group for their loving care of Mrs. Waldrep. The family request in lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to a charity organization of one’s choice.
