One of my favorite memories is her making me coconut fried pies. I've never had any as good as hers even though I have her recipe.

I just found out about the service today but they have such a hard time finding subs these days. Lauren and i will try to come but we won't be able to stay. We had so much fun with her. So many afternoons sitting on her swing watching the kids play. So many conversations-we could solve the world's problems! She was so good to keep the kids and so much fun to be around. It was a joy to live across the street from her all those years. Thank you for taking care of her. You are such a wonderful family and she loved all of you dearly. Hope she gets to see Jason because she sure missed him. and your dad. Our hearts hurt for you. She was as beautiful as the flowers she grew and offered the security of the mighty tree in her front yard. She blessed our lives for so many years. We will miss her.
