Marie Dattalo
Marie Dattalo, 82, of Lumberton, died Sunday, March 8, 2026. She was born May 18, 1943, in Port Arthur, to Clarence and Annie Arvidson.
Marie was a wonderful cook who showed her love through the meals she prepared for her family. She found great joy in gardening, especially tending to her daylilies, roses, and violets, which brought beauty and comfort to her home. She also dearly loved her puppies and treasured every moment spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought her endless pride and happiness.
Marie is survived by her husband, Charles Dattalo; children, Darren Dattalo and Dena Concienne and her husband, Tom; grandchildren, Alyssa Carden and her husband, Drew, and Wade Concienne and his wife, Holly; and great-grandchildren, Hudson, Brooks, Weston Carden, and Ivy Concienne.
She is preceded in death by her parents.

A gathering of Mrs. Dattalo’s family and friends will begin at 9:00 a.m., with her funeral service at 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 13, 2026, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Her interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.

Sorry to see Marie passed away, prayers for peace and comfort!
Charles and family, I am sorry I won’t be able to attend Marie’s service, as my husband is having surgery in Houston. Marie always called and checked on mom, and she and I talked often on the phone. I will miss her. I’m so sorry for your loss…it’s a big one.
