Marie was a radiant presence, known for her feisty spirit, her love for her Cajun heritage, her strong work ethic, and her deep, unwavering love for those she held dear. Her life was a testament to the beauty of family, the joy of connection, and the importance of kindness. Whether it was through her infectious smile, her words of wisdom, or the boundless love she gave, she made every moment count.
Throughout her life, she was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and Godmother, whose legacy lives on in her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Marie was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family, all of whom were blessed to know her and feel her warmth.
Her zest for life was unmatched. From family gatherings to quiet moments of reflection, Marie found joy in the simplest of things. She was a constant source of support, always ready with a comforting word, a helping hand, or a listening ear. Her love was unconditional, and her heart was as vast as the love she shared with everyone she met.
Though she is no longer with us, the memories she created and the love she gave will live on forever. We take comfort in knowing that her legacy of love and joy will continue through the generations she touched so deeply.

Prayers and condolences to Marie’s family and friends. For many years Marie was so much help to me when I was working at Channel 6 and later at the Sheriff’s Department. She was always ready to lead me in the right direction. Our community was a better place with Marie in it.
What a joy it was knowing Marie. I met her at the Beaumont Enterprise back in the mid 80s. She loved her job at the BMT Enterprise. Everyone loved Marie! Throughout the years you would always see her driving her SUV with the American flag flying outside of her vehicle! She was a true American!!
Marie,
I bid you farewell. Your friendship was a gift and your memory is a treasure. You were more than a friend, you were family. In my book of life, you were one of my favorite chapters. I love you and miss you.

I loved Marie! She ran things when I was a first-year reporter at the Beaumont Enterprise. My thoughts are with her family and friends. I know her passing leaves a huge void. She always had an incredible energy about her. She’ll be missed!
From the day I started at Beaumont Enterprise you took me under your wing. You had such a giving and loving spirit. I enjoyed every minute ever spent with you.
Many evenings I’d meet up with you and Herb for a night cap. Sure going to miss you. Sending prayers to your family and friends.
Miss Marie was my neighbor for years. Such a sweet soul. She left her mark on everything she was involved in. RIP..you will be missed.
Marie was wonderful in every way. She began working at the Beaumont Enterprise when Dwight Eisenhower was still president. And she took such good care of us in the newsroom. She brought sunshine with her wherever she went. Lift a Pearl Light in her memory.
She was a beautiful soul and will be sorely missed. All my love and prayers are with the family and their time of need. May they remember only the good times. And May she rest in peace
