Marion Sue Doguet Runnels
Marion Doguet Runnels, 69, of Kountze, died Sunday, March 2, 2025. She was born March 19, 1955, in Fort Knox, Kentucky, to Bobbie and Claude Broussard.
Survivors include her mother, Bobbie Earle of Lumberton; sister, Carol Broussard Page of Lumberton; children, Atecia Harrington and her husband, Kevin, of Manor; JR Doguet and his wife, Stephanie, of Olney, Illinois; and Nikki Doguet of Kountze; grandchildren, Jacob Frederick of Garland, Justen Harrington, Brenden Harrington, and Jacen Harrington, all of Manor; M’Reen Knox of Kountze, Thomas Osborne of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, and AnnaLynn Doguet and Scarlett Doguet , both of Olney, Illinois; great-grandchildren, Trentyn Knox and Wesley Knox; stepsister, Cathy Kinney and her husband, Dan, of Bastrop; stepbrother, Dale Kluck and his wife, Jodi, of San Marcos; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Doguet; father, Claude Broussard; stepmother, Kay Broussard; and stepfather, Glenn Earle.
A gathering of Marion’s family and friends will be 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., with a Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m., Friday, March 7, 2025, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Infant Jesus Catholic Church, 243 South LHS Drive, Lumberton. Her interment will follow at 12:00 p.m., at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, 4560 Highway 87, Bridge City, Orange County.

Marion was a competent, caring and compassionate nurse. She was committed to her profession. She had a beautiful smile and she was always kind.
I worked with Marion at St. E’s. She was a good friend. My prayers are with her family.

Marion Doguet was my aunt but more like a very special friend 6 months older than I was took care of me when I was pregnant, so I would loss my baby…. Was there for me when I lost my only child most caring and give person I ever knew she will be GREATLY missed. Love ya
