Martha Ann Lyday

October 9, 1950 - April 15, 2026

Martha Ann Lyday, 75, of Labelle, Texas passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at her home.  Martha was born to Martin and Lelia East on October 9, 1950, and resided in Labelle most of her life.

Martha was a great cook who was very proud of her Cajun heritage.

Survivors include her son Corey Pinckney and wife, Theresa; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.  Martha will be missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sons, Brian Pinckney and Kenneth Pinckney; sister, Mayola Trahan; and brother, Vernon East.

Ms. Lyday’s cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie.

    I was sorry to hear about Martha’s passing. She was my sister in law several decades ago. She never gave me her Almond Joy candy recipe!!! She will be missed.

    I loved you Martha so much. I am so glad we got to visit recently.. I wish I had known if you were sick. We had some good times. You will be missed. I love you.. I’ll see you again one day
