Martha Faye Calaway
Martha Faye Calaway, 82, of Beaumont, died Saturday, April 3, 2021, at Silsbee Oaks Health Care. She was born on October 12, 1938, in Beaumont, to Effie Rao and Nelson Sellers.
Martha was a longtime member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, Beaumont. She enjoyed gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren and family.
One of Martha’s favorite times was living in Jasper, where she and Vinson built their dream home and raised miniature horses and actual showed some of them. She also had chickens where her and Sandy (her loyal dog) would check for eggs every morning. She was very happy in Jasper.
She is survived by her daughters, Juli Ballard and her husband, Don, of Spicewood and Paige Wing and her husband, Kevin, of Lumberton; grandchildren, Jacqueline Lynch and her husband, Jason; Hannah Hardy and her husband, Garrett; and Addie Wing; great-grandchildren, Wells and Mar Alice Lynch; sister, Mary Alice Smith of Lumberton; and brother, Dale Sellers and his wife, Phyllis, of Spurger.
Martha is preceded in death by her parents, Effie and Nelson Sellers and her husband of twenty years, Vinson Calaway
A gathering of Mrs. Calaway’s family and friends will be from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 6, 2021, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.
In lieu of flowers, consider a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association.

So sorry to hear about the passing of my dear friend Martha. Unfortunately, I just heard about her passing and missed the gathering earlier today. My sweet, sweet Martha..I loved you like a sister and pray that you are at peace. Julie and Paige- your mom was very special and I pray that you also have some peace from this grief.
