Martin “Eddie” McCoy

August 9, 1950 - February 14, 2022

Martin Edward “Eddie” McCoy, 71, of Kountze, died Monday, February 14, 2022.  He was born on August 9, 1950, in Dayton, to Mae Pearl Register McCoy and Clarence Edward McCoy.

Survivors include his wife, Cindy McCoy; sons, Mark McCoy and his wife, Jessica; David McCoy and his wife, Christina; and Richard McCoy, all of Kountze; and Frank McCoy of Silsbee; grandchildren, Bryce McCoy and his wife, Christine Willis, of Kountze; Tyler McCoy and his wife, Jackie, of Virginia; Harlie Becker and her husband, Jason, of Orange; Ashley McCoy and her husband, Amos Johnson, of Silsbee; Cheyenne McCoy and her fiancé, Christian McCauley, of Center; and Jenna McCoy, D.J. McCoy, and Shaylinn McCoy, all of Kountze; great-grandchildren, Kayden Billiot, Mark Anthony Billiot, Jacob Johnson, Liam McCoy, and Beaux McCauley; siblings, Elaine Warden and her husband, Richard, of Kountze; J.B. McCoy and his wife, Bobbie Gene, of Pasadena; and Cindy Jauer and her husband, Randy, of Kountze; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.  He is preceded in death by his parents and granddaughter, Kaitlyn “Tigger” McCoy.

A gathering of Eddie’s family and friends will begin at 11:00 a.m., with his funeral service at 1:00 p.m., Friday, February 18, 2022, at Happy Valley Baptist Church, Highway 418, Kountze, under the direction of Broussard’s, Silsbee.  His interment will follow at Old Hardin Cemetery, Kountze.
