Martin “Marty” George Gack III

August 14, 1980 - August 25, 2025

Martin “Marty” George Gack III, 45, of Nederland, passed away Monday, August 25, 2025. He was born on August, 14, 1980, in Seattle, Washington, to Tymbre Janine Rienstra Gack and Martin George Gack, Jr.

His family returned to Nederland where he was raised. He graduated from Nederland High School where he played football. After graduation he served in the U.S. Navy.

Marty Loved sports, music, and movies. He was a fan of the Texas Rangers and liked going to Rangers games with his dad “Big Marty” and friend, Jason Delaney. He enjoyed watching college football on Saturdays as well as NFL Sundays. He enjoyed spending time at the beach with his mother in the summer, as well as family get togethers for holidays and birthdays. Marty had a love for music, both rock and country. He was really proud of many colorful tattoos.

Survivors include his mother, Tymbre Gack, of Nederland; brother, Edward “Eddie”  Gack and his wife, Melanie, of Houston; aunts, Sharon Rienstra Pullin, of Nederland, Kyra Day and her husband, Luke, of Bridge City, Melody Gack Blackwood, of Blue Point, New York, and Martine Gack West, of Norfolk, Virginia; uncle, Jan “Trey” Rienstra and his wife, Brenda, of Buchanan Dam; and many cousins.

He is preceded in death by his father, Martin George Gack, Jr., of Irving.

The family of Mr. Gack would like to give a special thank you to Tim Miller and his team with Texas Equusearch.

A memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Lamplighter Baptist Church, 2330 8th Street, Port Neches. Mr. Gack’s cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s 505 North 12th Street, Nederland.
