Marvin Preston Bond, Jr.
Marvin Preston Bond, Jr., 72, of Nederland, died Thursday, May 14, 2020, at Christus Southeast Texas- St. Elizabeth, Beaumont. He was born August 7, 1947, in Port Arthur, to Willie Mae Rowe Bond and Marvin Preston Bond, Sr. Marvin was a proud United States Navy veteran. He enjoyed shooting pool and racing cars.
Survivors include his son, Richard Bond, of Bowling Green, Kentucky; cousins, Sharon Greene, of China, Texas and Debbie Greene, of Pennsylvania; and nephew, Jason Davis.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Willie Mae and Marvin Bond, Sr.; sister, Linda Davis; and brother, Terry Bond.
A family committal for Mr. Bond will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland.
