Mary Alice Cain

Mary Alice Cain, 89, of Brookshire, died October 26, 2023.  She was born on August 30, 1934, in Thicket, to Addie Cartrett Loftin and Jesse Loftin.

Survivors include her grandchildren, Mary Cain and her husband, John Graves, of Houston; Mabry Lee Cain, IV and his wife, Leslie, of Greenville; Danielle Harris and her husband, Adam, of Hitchcock; Katelin Cain of Galveston; Jesse Cain of Wisconsin; Bonnie Kaiser of Denton; and Alyssa Arnold and her husband, Dylan, of Topeka, Kansas; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Janie Warren and her husband, Joe, of Votaw; Judy Johnson and her husband, Robert, of Perth, Australia; and Jeanine Bratz of Panama City, Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her parents; sons, Mabry Lee Cain, III and Jesse Cain; sister, Adeline Loftin; and brother, Forest Loftin.

Mrs. Cain’s funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 4, 2023, at Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze, with her interment to follow at Felps Cemetery, Thicket.
