Mary Anne Goodyear
Mary Anne Goodyear, 72, of Beaumont, died Friday, September 10, 2021, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas, Beaumont. She was born on January 28, 1949, to Hilda Foux Schwaner and Marion Schwaner, in Beaumont. Mary was a 1967 graduate of Beaumont High School. She enjoyed counting cross stitch and reading.
Survivors include her husband, John Henry Goodyear; daughters, Laurie Phelan and her husband, Eric, of Mont Belvieu and Anne Pyron and her husband, Chris, of Tennessee; and grandkids, Seth Wilson, Liam Phelan, Sean Phelan, and Colton Phelan.
She is preceded in death by her son-in-law, Hugh Wilson.
A memorial service for Mrs. Goodyear will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 18, 2021, at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, 4090 Delaware, Beaumont, with a reception following in the Broce Hall, under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her cremation arrangements will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium.
Memorial contributions may be made to The Humane Society of Southeast Texas, 2050 Spindletop Avenue, Beaumont, Texas 77705.
