Mary Briones Arredondo
Mary Briones Arredondo, 99, of Beaumont, died Sunday, April 19, 2026. She was born on February 6, 1927, in Austin to Sadie Castro and Joe V. Briones.
Survivors include her children, Ernestine Henslee and her husband, James, of Bevil Oaks; Joe Arredondo of Lumberton; Carmen Leddy and her husband, Martin, of Houston; Alfred Arredondo of Beaumont; Christine A. Guerrero of Beaumont; Louis Arredondo; and Gloria Vazquez of Beaumont; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents; children, Edward Arredondo, Eugenia Kotz; Eugene Arredondo, Jr.; Marie Lydia Arredondo; Rosa Arredondo; and Ernest Arredondo.
A gathering of Mrs. Arredondo’s family and friends will begin 10:00 a.m. with her funeral service at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. Her interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery, Beaumont.
Ninety-nine years of grace and light,
A century nearly told,
A life of wisdom, deep and bright,
