Katherine was such a joy in our church and as a friend. She loves the Lord and loved on our family as if we were her own flesh and blood. I know that this is just how she treated people. We will miss her love for contemporary Christian music, but we know she is still singing today to her Savior in heaven as she loved the Lord with all of her heart.

It is not often in our lives we have a lifelong friend who sends handwritten birthday cards and Christmas cards every year for over 40 years, but I was extremely blessed . Mary & I met in the 6th grade at C.O. Wilson Junior High in Nederland and she remained in touch with me throughout the years. I will always cherish the memories. Rest in Peace Mary Katherine, you fought the good fight. Elisha, Angie, Robert, Kimberly, and Robbie - I pray for comfort from the Lord during this difficult time.
