Mary Louise Medina, 81, of Nederland, died Saturday, May 14, 2022. She was born February 26, 1941, in San Antonio, to Salud Acosta Reza and Gerardo Reza, Sr.
Mary worked in the medical field as a Licensed Vocational Nurse for thirty years. In her early years, she enjoyed fishing and cherished the memories made at Crystal Beach every 4th of July. She and her family would spend a week or two at the beach including her daughters’ friends that became more like her own “adopted” children. Mary also enjoyed gardening, especially tending to her plants and flowers. She was a fabulous cook, and everyone loved her tamales, beans, and rice. Mary was fondly called “Mom” by many.
