Mary Neoma Verde

Mary Neoma Verde, 100, of Nederland, died Sunday, July 13, 2025. She was born on February 11, 1925, in New Iberia, Louisiana, to Marie Mable Vincent Segura and Homer Segura.

Survivors include her daughters, Barbara Williamson; and Delores Jones and her husband, Raymond, all of Lumberton; son, Rick Verde and his companion, Debbie Hajovsky, of Granger; grandchildren, Marc White and his wife, Kelli; Greg White and his wife, Dawn; Chris Verde and his wife, Heather; Nic Verde; Eli Verde; Ben Verde and his wife, Melanie; Heather Little and her husband, Adam; LeAnne Evans and her husband, Joey; Victoria Jacobs and her husband, Brandon; and Sara Ferguson and her husband, Josh; great-grandchildren, Matt White and his wife, Carlee; Trent White and his wife, Lexi; Cole White, Seth White, Trace White, Tabytha Little; Aubrey Evans, Piper Evans, Landry Evans, Logan Jacobs, Natalie Jacobs, Whitley Jacobs, Ember Verde, and Trevor Verde; great-great grandchild, Brooks White; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Coley Verde; parents, Homer and Marie Segura; and son, Robert Verde.

A gathering of Mrs. Verde’s family and friends will begin at 9:30 a.m., with a rosary recited at 10:30 a.m., and a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, 2006 Nall Street, Port Neches. Her interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
