Mary Josephine Geheb Nobles

November 24, 1921 - December 12, 2020

Mary Josephine Geheb Nobles, 99, of Vidor, died Saturday, December 12, 2020. She was born on November 24, 1921 to Alma Louise Underbrink and Edward G. Geheb, Sr., in Riviera, Texas. Mary was an avid ballroom and square dancer.

Survivors include her son, Steve Nobles and his wife, Terry, of Beaumont; daughter, Theresa Nobles Sampson and her husband, Joe, of Vidor; brothers, Edward Geheb, of Missouri and Joseph Geheb and his wife Eileen, of Beaumont; five grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Earl Nobles and nine of her brothers and sisters.

A Rosary for Mrs. Nobles’ will be recited at 5:00 p.m., with a gathering of her family and friends to follow until 7:00 p.m., Friday, December 18, 2020 at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 19, 2020, at St. Anthony Cathedral Basilica, 700 Jefferson Street, Beaumont, followed by her interment at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.

The family would like to express heartfelt gratitude to Harbor Hospice for the expert care given while on their service. Special thank you to Tracy Marlow, RN for her dedicated service to Mary.
