Mary Theresa Flitcraft
Mary Theresa Flitcraft, 71, of Beaumont, died Sunday, December 11, 2022, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas – Beaumont. She was born July 27, 1951, in Beaumont, to Frances Magliolo Fillingame and Jessie Earl Fillingame.
She is survived by her husband, Wally Flitcraft; son, Jason Flitcraft and his wife, Jessica, of Cedar Park; Brian Flitcraft, of Beaumont; brother, Jessie Fillingame, Jr., of Vidor; sister, Vivian “Bib” Thompson and her husband, Woody, of Lumberton; brother, Jerry Fillingame and his wife, Cheryl, of Beaumont; sister, Rhoda Lynch of Beaumont; brother, George Fillingame of Beaumont; sister, Pam Zambardino of Vidor; grandchildren, Jonas and Levi Flitcraft of Cedar Park; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents; brother, James “Jimmy” Fillingame; sister-in-law, Alice Flitcraft; niece, Jennifer Mott; and nephews, Greg Flitcraft and Chris Fillingame.
A gathering of Mrs. Flitcraft’s family and friends will be at 1:00 p.m., with her funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 15, 2022, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. her interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.

Dear Wally, Jason, Brian and family,
Our deepest sympathy in the loss of Mary. She had such a sweet smile, and warm personality that always put everyone at ease. May God hold you in his arms and bring comfort. To be absent from the body is to be in the presence of the Lord.

Dear Family, I was truly saddened when I heard of Mary’s passing. I know her death must have been a shock to all. Being a cousin, I can remember when we were all much younger. While our moms would visit, we would play outside and we had so much fun. As we grew older and married some of us left our hometown. We saw less and less of our cousins but we never forgot the good times. My condolences to all. Rest in Peace sweet Mary.
I was Jason’s T-Ball coach in 1987. I’ve never forgotten the support that the Flitcraft family showed our little team. I offer prayers for strength and comfort during this difficult time. May you Rest In Peace Mrs Flitcraft.
I am so sorry to hear about Mary. She’s always been a special friend to me. Heaven now has a pretty angel watching over the Fillingame Family.

Mary was a great cousin and enjoyed good times with her family. We attended school together and went to many school activities. Mary wii be deeply missed but not forgotten.
I only met you this summer through Heather Holloway Phillips, but your entire family opened your arms so lovingly and welcoming to me a total stranger. Mary is one of the sweetest people Doug and I knew. Here smile was infectious and welcoming. I always loved seeing her at church. Rest in peace, Mary until we meet again. Prayers for Wally and all the family.
God please help us get through this. Mary, I cannot imagine what it will be like here without you. Thank you for being such a wonderful sister. I can only imagine how beautiful you are in your white robe and angel wings. I will miss you every day until God brings us together again. Mrs. Flitcraft will dearly be missed by many, and the news of her passing brought a tear to my eye. It was one of joy because of what I realize now. Like all our parents, she was always welcoming to having us kids come over to visit and hang out with Brian. It didn’t matter if it were the first house, the temporary trailer, or the rebuild, Mrs. Flitcraft always made the house a home. Rest now and keep a watch over all of us Mrs. Flitcraft.
You could search the world over and never find a better Mother, Grandmother, Friend and Wife to Wally. I have known Mary since around 1970. We have been friends ever since. Worked in the same store. Lived next door to each other. RIP Mary for you will forever have a place in my heart. M. R.
