Melanie Pruett
Melanie Pruett, 53, of Vidor, died Monday, February 6, 2023. She was born on August 31, 1969, in Houston.
Melanie loved coffee, coloring books, Christmas, and birthdays. She will be remembered as a loving daughter, sister, and aunt.
Survivors include her sisters, Melissa Posey, of Vidor; Deidre Powell and her husband, Rick, of Vidor; and Deanna Maddox and her husband, Cole, of Belton, Missouri; brother-in-law, Dana Leslie of Vidor; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Mark Pruett; and sister, Jacqueline Leslie.
Memorial contributions for Ms. Pruett may be made to Spindletop Center, 655 South 8th Street, Beaumont, Texas 77701.
Cremation arrangements for Ms. Pruett were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont.
I am sorry to read of Melanie’s passing. I greeted her – and her sister when she was there – whenever I would visit my mother at VHR.
My mother passed away the day before Melanie.
