Melba Williams
Melba Williams, 70, of Winnie, died Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at The Arboretum of Winnie. She was born October 9, 1951, in Beaumont, to Clara Melancon LeLeux and Newman J. LeLeux.
Survivors include her sisters, Carolyn Breaux, of Carencro, Louisiana and Joyce Bradley, of Town Bluff; stepsister, Jackie Fox, of Hamshire; stepbrother, Ricky Cravy; stepmother, Annie Dell LeLeux, both of Winnie; stepston, Joey Williams; sister-in-law, Pat Craigen, of Fannett; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joe H. Williams, Sr.; brother, Glenn Leleux; stepson, Michael Williams; and stepbrother, Charlie Cravy.
A gathering of Mrs. Williams’ family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., with her memorial service at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 24, 2022, at Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie. Cremation arrangements for Mrs. Williams will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont. Her inurnment will take place at Fairview Cemetery, Winnie.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Mrs. Williams may be made to Cornerstone Church, Building Fund, P.O. BOX 387, Winnie, Texas 77665.
