Sincere condolences to the family. I am so very sorry for your loss. May God provide the necessary peace and comfort to your family and friends during this difficult time. Please remember these words of encouragement from the Bible: “ Jesus plainly told her: “I am the resurrection and the life. He that exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life.” —John 11:20-25.
Meredith,
You will be missed. I did not have the opportunity to get to know in the way that the majority of our sorority sisters did and that was my loss, so I don’t have the years of memories and pictures. But, I do remember you from college and your first day when your joined Phi Beta Chi at SHSU with Lana…I think we were at the LSC Building…I remember you brought your light and smile to our sisterhood. I will always have regret for not remaining in the sisterhood but I am glad you still remembered me years later and we were able to connect and stay in touch. Now, my heart aches for your babies but I know you are in the arms of Jesus and you are watching from above…
Your Sister in Christ and Phi Beta Chi Sister…

Meredith was such a loyal, dedicated friend and mom. She loved her people and like everyone has said, made you feel better about yourself. She poured her life into her kids, both biological and at school. You will be greatly missed Meredith Brown! It was a privilege to have known you!
I am so very sorry for all of y’all’s loss. My daughter Poppy went to school with Emma and that’s how I got to know sweet Meredith. When we had a school event, I went right to her because she was a friend and we had a connection and she made me feel so comfortable in her presence. She was truly the sweetest person. She will be missed by all who knew her and I will forever pray for her precious children and parents and extended family.
My deepest condolences.

The news of Meredith’s death fills me with great sorrow. You could not have known Meredith and not loved her. I taught with her for many years at Marshall Middle School. We became great friends. The one thing I know more than anything is how much she loved Jackson and Emma. They were the joy of her life.
My heart goes out to Emma! I love you and I’m so so sorry, your mom was an amazing person, and she helped shape you!- 🩷Polly
Ms. Brown was a very caring Educator and truly enjoyed working with the Students at Marshall M.S..
I will forever cherish the conversations and laughs we shared.
What a wonderful person and incredible teacher. As students many of us heard her sing and we used to tell her she could’ve won American Idol if she wanted to, but she loved teaching so much that I don’t think she would have ever tried.
Taken far too soon, rest in peace you kind soul.
Thank you for your service to our students at Marshall Middle School and for always having a kind word to share with others. You will be missed but not forgotten!
I knew Meredith when she was a little girl and friends with my daughter. She made such a wonderful impression on me. She was beautiful inside and out, extremely kind and friendly to all. I am so sad to hear of her passing because I know she will missed by so many who love her.
We are so sorry for your loss. We will pray for the family and especially for the children.
You will be so missed. It was a privilege to work with and love you.
i loved Ms brown so much , she was my 7th grade teacher & I’ll never forget how sweet & understanding she was. Bo matter how me or any other classmate was feeling; sad , mad , happy & more , she knew how to cheer us up. And to see that my favorite teachers has died is devastating. I don’t think I’ll never cope to this ever. She was the most sweetest person you could ever meet. I remember on the last day of 8th grade she cried & i couldn’t do nothing but cry & hug her. I miss her so much & I hope the family is ok.
Meredith has always been a class act lady, an excellent teacher and mother to her beautiful children. Praying to our heavenly Father to bring comfort and peace to the family.
