Sincere condolences to the family. I am so very sorry for your loss. May God provide the necessary peace and comfort to your family and friends during this difficult time. Please remember these words of encouragement from the Bible: “ Jesus plainly told her: “I am the resurrection and the life. He that exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life.” —John 11:20-25.

    Meredith,
You will be missed. I did not have the opportunity to get to know in the way that the majority of our sorority sisters did and that was my loss, so I don’t have the years of memories and pictures. But, I do remember you from college and your first day when your joined Phi Beta Chi at SHSU with Lana…I think we were at the LSC Building…I remember you brought your light and smile to our sisterhood. I will always have regret for not remaining in the sisterhood but I am glad you still remembered me years later and we were able to connect and stay in touch. Now, my heart aches for your babies but I know you are in the arms of Jesus and you are watching from above…

Your Sister in Christ and Phi Beta Chi Sister…

What a wonderful person and incredible teacher. As students many of us heard her sing and we used to tell her she could’ve won American Idol if she wanted to, but she loved teaching so much that I don’t think she would have ever tried.

i loved Ms brown so much , she was my 7th grade teacher & I’ll never forget how sweet & understanding she was. Bo matter how me or any other classmate was feeling; sad , mad , happy & more , she knew how to cheer us up. And to see that my favorite teachers has died is devastating. I don’t think I’ll never cope to this ever. She was the most sweetest person you could ever meet. I remember on the last day of 8th grade she cried & i couldn’t do nothing but cry & hug her.
