Meredith Slater

Meredith Slater, 84, of Silsbee, died Sunday, September 11, 2022. She was born on April 23, 1938, in Houston, Texas to Ouida Trump Mason and H.S. Mason.

Survivors include her children, Connie Harrell and her husband, Kevin, of Lumberton; daughter-in-law, Debbie Benesh, of Houston; grandchildren, Jessica Delacerda, and her husband, David, and Matthew Harrell all of Lumberton, Joshua Benesh, Christina Benesh, and Erin Benesh all of Houston; great grandchildren, Hunter Delacerda, and Stetson Delacerda; siblings, Myrna Robbins, and her husband, Joe, of Livingston, and Jeanine Cook of La Marque.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and her sons, Christopher Benesh, and Matthew Benesh.

Ms. Slater’s cremation arrangements will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium under the direction of Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.
