Michael James Hebert, Sr.
Michael James Hebert, Sr., 90, of Beaumont, left this life on Thursday, April 27, 2023, at home, to go live with his Lord and Master in Heaven. Mike was born on August 23, 1932, in Beaumont, to Mabel and Murray Hebert, of Beaumont.

His two sons were the joy of his life. As they were growing up, the three of them enjoyed fishing in the Gulf of Mexico, camping out and handball at the YMCA. He referred to his daughters-in-law as blessings.
Mike was a member of Westgate Memorial Baptist Church and the Sojourner’s Sunday School Class. He enjoyed the Morning Prayer Breakfast at St. Mark’s Church.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Marilyn Terrell Hebert, who he called the love of his life; his two sons, Michael Hebert, Jr. of Kerrville and Scott Hebert of Sugarland, as well as their wives, Sandra Hebert and Janet Pierce Hebert; six grandchildren, Charlie Hebert and his wife, Emileigh of Katy; Katie and her husband, Brian Rike, of Richmond; Bailey Marie Hebert of Dallas; Kasi Hebert; Michael Hebert; and Matthew Hebert, all of Houston; great-grandchildren, Eivin, Merak Hebert, Lennox Hebert; Addison Rike, and Liam Rike; brother, Murray Hebert and his wife, Toni of Kerrville; and niece and nephews, Dr. Tracie and Dr. Michael George and their children, Isabelle and Abigail; and Jason Socier.

Dearest Marilyn and family,
I am greatly saddened to see the notice of your loss of Mike…but what wonderful 47 years you had together….dwell on the memories….since Patsy’s graduation to heaven, I contend that regardless of age or condition of health, we are never ready to say BYE to those we love….God continues to walk with us, hand in hand, each day…know that all of the Williams family sends love and prayers for this difficult new walk in your lives…..
Yours for a better
world thru Christ,
R. O. Williams, Jr.

Mike was a sweet and kind Christian man that walked closely with His Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. Now, Mike is in the presence and arms of His Heavenly Father.
A man of God…
A role model…
Rest in Peace, my friend
What a wonderful man. It was a privilege to know him and his dear wife.
Condolences to all of his family and loved ones but rest assured he is with the Lord.
I cannot remember when I did not know Mike. In fact, my mom, Nell McCormick, and aunt, Janet Richardson, introduced Mike and Marilyn so there have been many interactions with them over the years. He was a fine Christian man successful in life.
