Michael Lewis Long

Michael Lewis Long, 47, of Beaumont, died on October 25, 2021, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas, Beaumont. He was born to Carl and Peggy Legett Long on December 8, 1973, in Houston, Texas. Michael served his country in the United States Air Force. Michael will forever be remembered as a loving father, son, brother, uncle and friend.

He is survived by his parents, Carl and Peggy Long of Beaumont; daughters, October and Cassandra Vavich of Lake Jackson; granddaughter, Amelia of Lake Jackson; sister, Sabryna Carlson and her husband, Michael, of LaMarque; and nieces and nephews, Katya, Rhegyn, Ian, Donte, Randi, Raya, Raivyn, and Kristyanna.

A memorial service will be held for Mr. Long at 3:00 p.m., Friday, November 5, 2021, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His cremation arrangements will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, WEB P.O. Box 97075, Washington, DC 20090-7075 or to a charity of your choosing.
