Michael Lynn Pollock, Sr.

Michael Lynn Pollock, Sr., 71, of Beaumont, died Monday, September 27, 2021, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas, Beaumont. He was born on April 15, 1950, to Pauline Miller Pollock and Olen Cecil Pollock, in Vidor. Michael loved fishing, hunting, music, and playing his guitars, and he was an avid gun enthusiast, awesome country dancer, and a family man.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Pollock; sons, Michael Pollock and his wife, Melissa, of Silsbee and Steven Pollock and his wife, Tracy, of Fannett; daughters, Lorraine Mouton of Beaumont and Becky Gotreaux and her husband, Dayne, of Beaumont; and sons, Preston “PJ” Mouton and his wife, Dena, of Florence and Danny Mouton, Sr., of Beaumont; sisters, Sharon Kilmer and her husband, Bobby, Linda Johnston, and Paulette Pollock, all of Vidor; grandchildren, Katelyn Walter, Sam Gotreaux, Henry Gotreaux, Aaron Mouton, Mckenzie Mouton, Miranda Pollock, Tiffany Marcantel, Dustin Carroll, Schahn Pollock, Paisley Pollock, Ariell Owens, and Trace; and seven great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Karen Howell.

A gathering of Mr. Pollock’s family and friends will begin at 2:00 p.m., with his memorial service to follow at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, October 3, 2021, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His cremation will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.

    I only met Mr. Pollock a couple of years ago at his business. He was a very knowledgeable, helpful and kind man. I am glad to have known him. I am sorry for your loss.
