Michael Patrick Poncho

Michael Patrick Poncho, 53, of Spurger, died Friday, October 31, 2025. He was born on October 29, 1972, in Woodville, to Mae Elizabeth (Whaley) Poncho and Elwin Jenson Poncho.

Survivors include his parents, Elizabeth and Elwin Poncho of Spurger; sisters, Vanessa Poncho and Kimberly Poncho, both of Spurger; nephew, Michael Reyna and his wife, Corie, of Woodville; aunts, Dona Norsworthy and her husband, Randy, of Spurger; Lenora Williams of Livingston; Ruthie Padilla of Livingston; Mary Poncho of Woodville; and Joyce Poncho of Livingston; and a host of cousins.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents as well as his aunts and uncles.

A gathering of Michael’s family and friends will be 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. His graveside service will follow at 1:00 p.m., at Franks Branch Cemetery, 21650 FM 92, Fred.
