Michael Ray Coker

October 16, 1955 - February 21, 2023

Michael Ray Coker, 67, of Sealy, died Tuesday, February 21, 2023. He was born on October 16, 1955, to Sydonia Ruth Terrell Coker and Herbert George Coker, in Houston.

Mike was born and raised in Houston. Mike had a love for music and followed in our Dad’s footsteps as a talented musician for many years.

Survivors include his son, Cameron Coker; his sister, Brenda (Randy) Temple of Beaumont;  nephew, Jonathan Temple of League City, Texas; nieces, Samantha (Adam) Leggett of Orange, Texas and Donna (Kyle) Franklin of Vidor, Texas; as well as 4 great-nephews and a great-niece; also aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Mr. Coker’s cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.

    I remember when I came from Trinidad
    Mike Coker was one of the friendliest guys to me.
    I stayed in touch with him at school but I only saw him very little after that.
    The guys I could count on was Mike Larry Tatum and Bruce Norton in sixth grade.

    I met Mike thru my brother Kenny Pitts. Mike was always so nice and kind. During my brothers illness Mike would always check up on Kenny, which meant so much. Sending my thoughts and prayers to his family, and loved ones. ????????❤️????????
