Michael Ray Stephens
Michael Ray Stephens, 69, of Silsbee, went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 25, 2023. He was born on July 9, 1954, in Beaumont, to Loretta Amos Stephens and Ronald Mack Stephens. Michael proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps.
Michael retired as a control supervisor from ExxonMobil after thirty-one years of service. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and the Dallas Cowboys. He will be forever remembered as a loving husband, father, and PawPaw.
Survivors include his wife of over forty-eight years, Charlotte Stephens; sons, Thomas Kitchens of Cove; Timothy Stephens and wife, Christy, of Fannett; Todd Stephens and wife, Katja, of Zachary, Louisiana; daughter, Melissa Cook and husband, Colin, of San Marcos; grandchildren, Dylan, Brandon, Cade, Colton, Brayden, Garret, Lucas, Christian, Brittany, Leni, and Angel; great-granddaughter, Madden; sister, Donna Cooper and husband, Tommy, of Oakley, California; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents.
A gathering of Michael’s family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m., with his funeral service at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 29, 2023, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. His committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
