Michael Wayne Reagan

April 15, 1950 - February 21, 2021

Michael Wayne Reagan, 70, of Winnie passed away February 21, 2021. He was born in Jefferson County to Dolphe Lee Reagan and Geneva Maria Phelps on April 15, 1950. He worked for Huntsman as a pipe fitter and welder for 28 years before retiring. He then went to work as a traveling contractor in plants across the states. Mike then officially retired to help raise Savannah and Kaleb McLaurin. Mike had a love of helping others. He played a part in volunteering for YMBL and the 4-H Clubs of Chambers and Jefferson County for over 20 years. His love for rodeo ran deep as he was a part of many rodeo organizations in surrounding counties. He was also an avid hog hunter.

Mike is survived by his wife of 20 years, Sandra McLaurin Reagan. He is also survived by his kids Kent Doyle McLaurin Jr. (Donya), Velma Rutherford, Amy McLaurin Guillory (John), and Cody McLaurin. Mike is also survived by his beloved grandkids Mitchell Tully, Blake McLaurin, Kaleb McLaurin (Marissa), Savannah McLaurin, Peyton McLaurin, and Kaleb Jones. Along with Quincy McLaurin, Declin McLaurin, and Greyson McLaurin, his loving great grandkids. His mother and brother Gene Reagan (Tina) also survive him.

Mike is preceded in death by his father and two sons, Jessie Reagan and Kent McLaurin.

A gathering of Mr. Reagan’s family and friends will begin at 3:00 p.m., followed by his funeral service at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.

Memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church of Winnie, P.O. Box 1570, Winnie, Texas 77665.
