Michael Wright
Michael Alan Wright, 27, of Port Acres, died Sunday, May 1, 2022. He was born October 6, 1994, in Port Arthur.
Michael loved wrestling, video games, and his dog. He will be remembered as a loving son, grandson, brother, and friend to all.
Survivors include his father, Cody Sewell and wife, Angela; mother, Elizabeth Landry and husband, Robert; brother, Keano Lane; sister, Samantha Lane; grandparents, Carolyn Sewell; Gary Sewell and wife, Patricia; and Pam Wright; great-grandfather, Joe Hughes; numerous aunts and uncles; and a host of other relatives and friends. Michael will be especially missed by his faithful canine companion, Jerry.
Cremation arrangements for Michael will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland.
Memorial contributions in honor of Michael may be made to The Humane Society of Southeast Texas, 2050 Spindletop Avenue, Beaumont, Texas 77705.

I’m shocked and saddened by the news of his passing. I can’t imagine what his family is going through. My prayers are with y’all.
Although I never got the chance to meet Mike in person, we were friends through mutuals on social media. I could tell he was a caring soul. He’d do anything for his loved ones. I wish I had met him because he was such a sweet guy. Any time I was having a bad day, he’d send me a meme or a picture of his beloved dog, Jerry.
He was taken too soon. I know Jerry and especially his Grandmother Carolyn will miss him greatly. Fly high young man. You brought a smile to many faces I am certain.
I’m so sorry to hear of Michael’s early passing. I have made a donation in his name to the humane society. He was taken much too soon and will be missed.
This is his brother Keano. Thank you so much for your support! It’s really hard losing my brother, can’t stop crying and everyone is taking this very hard and yes he was taken to soon but he’s at peace. He’s in gods hands now!
Mike we love you like my Grandson “Randolph”. I will miss you dearly. You are in God’s hands now and I know you are happy. God will watch and take care of you. Will always love and miss you.
